When appropriate, TLC supports the Lets with Pets approach of the Dogs Trust. This is obviously subject to (a) having vacant properties (TLC is a small agency with a high occupancy rate), (b) the available/advertised property's suitability to accommodate pets and (c) that particular landlord/owner being prepared to accept pets.
Being a pet owner myself, I understand both sides of the situation. A good tenant is a good tenant, regardless of whether they have pets. However, pets do have an impact on a property and if there are issues and things go wrong, they can be expensive to rectify. TLC has a Pet Policy based on that, provided by the Dogs Trust, and will require any tenants to abide by those requirements.
